Request from Pastor Vern - I have a dear, dear friend, Don Lovell, who lives in Colorado Springs, CO. We've known him and his wife Lynn for 38 years. They came to the first church we ever pastored 6 months after we arrived in Tucson and we've been in relationship ever since. He called me on Saturday from a hospital and said he'd had a stroke. It's a strange one in that it has affected his ability to swallow and, while he has movement in all his limbs his brain tells him that his center of gravity is somewhere between his waist and knees as well as outside his body on the right side; which simply means that standing and walking are next to impossible humanly even though he can move his legs. He sounded desperate for God to move when I spoke to him yesterday. If he can't swallow by the end of this week they will have cut a hole in his stomach and insert a tube. He is a strong Believer and earnestly desires a move of God. I know your family has touched the the throne, the hem of the garment of our LORD many, many times and I would deeply appreciate it if you would take Don Lovell and his need to that Precious Place.

Tough times don't last... Tough people do. My name is Gary Hogan. Some of you receiving this know me, some do not. My wife, Cindy, is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed 3 days ago with stage 4 cervical cancer and her chances for survival are very slim. She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried recently at 3 months, and now we know why. This is a request for you to forwar d this e-mail to everyone you know asking for prayer. The more people that pray for her to be healed, the better.

Last Sunday somebody called me on my mobile and told me that “your wife is not good, she has some bad connections, and some bad words ag ai nst my wife, then he s ai d if you don’t believe u ask your childrens, my children are small” then he cut the phone, I ask him who are you, he disconnected. Immediately, I called my wife, she started crying, she asked me “do you trust me” you are a believer you should no think like that, someone trying to give trouble and tension. Then she told me that one our old driver ask her some money its huge amount, she s ai d sorry I don’t have money. She is telling that is guy may be called you. I don’t know pastor what to do, I know my wife, I trust in her. I told Jesus please speak to my enemy to stop this kind of work. Enemies are trying to spoil our family life. Sent last night: Yesterday, after being up all night with Barb, Dick laid down in the afternoon with Barb to take a nap. When he got up, Barb was no where to be found. The YWAM team began looking. The police were called and set up a command post in front of their house. After about 2 or 3 hours she was located in the emergency room at GW. Paramedics had brought her in.Her forehead was scraped and bruised. Her hair was quite bloody. They kept her in the hospital today. She may have come home this evening. Sent this morning: Barb is home from the hospital because the gerontologist thought Barb would do better in her home situation rather than the unfamiliar surroundings of the hospital. The drugs to sedate her are beginning to wear off. Dick is pretty exhausted. Pray for his strength, wisdom and grace, as well.

Request from Julie - My Christian husband (Gary) has recently been diagnosed with personality disorders, but has also off & on struggled with alcohol since a teenager. These 2 things combined have unfortunately caused him to do some self-sabotaging behavior (criminal activity). He is about to be released from jail on bond in order to immediately get on medication & to rehab (which will not only be great for his legal case but he is definitely eager & ready to get help)! He not only needs to but has been advised to go to a long-term rehab (a mere 30-days is not going to do much). The facility we found is a rare & great one -- it is not only long-term & deals with addiction but also is what is called a "dual diagnosis" rehab that treats mental illnesses as well. Since these 2 things are serious, it is imperative that both be treated, not just 1. The only obstacle is finances...which only the Lord can provide, even if out of thin air! It is $6600 per month, for up to 12 month stay. This l! ong-term rehab will literally save his life & keep him on the path of healing & rehabilitation...& he has the opportunity to have a healthy normal life to take on the world, kingdom of God, & his family! Please pray for finances (for the rehab as well as basic needs), wisdom, guidance, healing, restoration, & favor with judges/lawyers with his legal matters.

RequestMy daughter, J****, is pregnant in her last month and is trapped in an abusive relationship she has nowhere to go and she can no longer work because of her pregnancy. She is seeking to make a lifestyle change, seeking God for the first time in her life. Her boyfriend, J****, who she lives with has emotionally beaten her down and does not allow her to have friends or a computer to talk to anyone, so I am the only one she can vent to.
In the beginning I was able to go to the Lord and forgive Jason for everything he was doing and saying to her and my 3 year-old granddaughter, London, but lately, I have become so overwhelmed with it that I can't sleep and am so stressed out that I have headaches, back and muscle aches and in my body hurts. Please pray for us; for J**** that all the stress will not hurt the baby waiting to be born, for her emotional health, for strength and grace, her well-being, and Gods mercy. Also for J****, that God will touch those placed in his life where he has been hurt which is causing him to be so insanely jealous along with other issues in his life that cause him to take it out on J****, London and the unborn. Please pray for the Lord to protect and keep London while strife is going on, and pray for favor and protection and covering in the name of the True Lord Jesus.
I ask for pray for my physical health as well because she tells me all the things he says and does, the build up of anger makes my body hurt and Im asking the Lord to enable me to let go of this anger.

Request Urgent prayers for 19 year old Jonathan. He is in surgery now as I write for 8 hours. July 1st 10:30 p.s.t. Pray that the surgeons hands are guided to do a wonderful job with our Lord God, his son Jesus Christ and saints and saviors of all ages. Please pray that all of his angels are there assisting. Jonathan harness broke and he fell and broke his back, both legs, both ankles and an arm. The surgeons need to remove all the bone fragments from the broken spine and repair it so he will be to walk again.
